Family Education Services Foundation has received numerous awards in recognition of its contribution to Deaf Education in Pakistan, the development of innovative digital learning resources in Pakistan Sign Language, and advocacy in the policy realm. FESF is also a consultative member of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

Deaf Reach, a program of FESF, has become the first Pakistani organization to win the notable Hamdan-ICESCO Prize for Voluntary Development of Education Facilities in the Islamic world.

SITAR-I-KHIDMAT AWARD 2020

Richard Geary, founder of FESF and the Deaf Reach Program was the recipient the civil award of Sitara-I-Khidmat 2020 in recognition of his service to Pakistan, conferred by President Dr. Arif Alvi.

WISE AWARD 2018

The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), an initiative of the Qatar Foundation, awarded FESF’s “Technology-Based Deaf Education” the 2018 WISE Award, for its to addressing global educational challenges.

FESF’s Deaf Reach program was awarded Pakistan’s prestigious P@SHA 2018 Award – Inclusion and Community Service category, in recognition of its development of tech-based resources for Deaf Education.

FESF was chosen as one of six recipients of the i-Care Awards 2017. This award honors outstanding organizations that have established themselves as leaders in providing innovative solutions to social problems.

FESF’s Deaf Reach Program was awarded the prestigious NetHope 2017 Device Challenge Grant for its innovative solution of providing digital learning resources in Pakistan Sign Language on low-tech computer units.

FESF was awarded the Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT & ITES (P@SHA) ICT Award for 2014 – Inclusion & Community category, in recognition of innovative achievements in Pakistan’s ICT sector.
